Ten years ago, I left my career as a Grocery Store Manager to come home and raise our only son, then six. I was working 60 hours a week at the store and my son was being raised at daycare. I worked (and cried) many Christmas mornings, Easter Sundays, nights and weekends. I saw my son 2 hours per day on average and the stress was unbearable. My husband and I decided that, whatever it took, our son needed his mom at home, and equally, I needed to be home with him!
